Industrial Engineering PhD/FPI and Research Staff Opportunities in Circular Economy, Materials, 3D Printing, and HVAC

Two paid research opportunities are available at the University of Córdoba in the ECODESICA project, focused on circular economy , functional materials , 3D printing , energy-efficient HVAC systems , and desiccant materials . The project aims to develop ordered mesoporous silica from rice husks and use it to manufacture and test innovative dehumidification systems. Openings: • Predoctoral FPI contract (36 months): includes a PhD thesis integrated into the project. Indicative gross salary: €1,800–€2,000/month . • Research staff contract (about 33 months): indicative gross salary €1,950/month . There is a possibility of pursuing a PhD if academic requirements are met. Preferred background: degrees in Industrial Engineering , especially Mechanical Engineering , Industrial Electronics Engineering , Electrical Engineering , Industrial Technologies Engineering , or Chemical Engineering . Helpful experience includes a relevant Master’s degree, R&D and innovation, CAD/3D printing, laboratory work, simulation, data analysis, and English proficiency.
