The University of Graz is advertising a University Assistant without doctorate (m/f/d) position in the Department of Molecular Biosciences . The position offers collaboration with established research groups and core facilities at the Institute of Molecular Biosciences and within the excellence field BioHealth . In addition to research, the assistant is expected to prepare a relevant doctoral thesis , participate in teaching and examinations, teach own autonomous courses, co-supervise students, and support organizational and administrative work. This is therefore a good fit for a motivated early-career researcher who wants to develop a PhD project within an active molecular biosciences environment. Applicants should hold a completed diploma or master’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or biology , ideally with a focus on aging and cell death. Experience with fundamental molecular biology techniques is required, and knowledge of polyamine metabolism is especially important. Experience with autophagy, mouse models, human cell culture, and didactic skills in molecular biology, microbiology, or cell biology are desirable.
