Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher for an IC and system design position through the InnoCORE program. The research scope includes analog IC , mixed-signal IC , and digital IC and system design. Specific topics will be matched to the selected candidate’s expertise and interests, with possible directions including SerDes , wireline , data converters , and related hardware/system design work. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in IC and system design (or be scheduled to complete it before appointment). Required experience includes IC design , tape-out , and silicon measurements . The post also highlights preferred strengths such as a strong publication record in venues like ISSCC , VLSI Symposium , CICC , ESSERC , A-SSCC , RFIC , and journals such as JSSC , TCAS , and T-MTT , plus the ability to independently generate research ideas and lead projects. Experience in PCB and RF PCB design and measurement is also valued. The position is located in Daegu, South Korea . Compensation is listed as an annual pre-tax salary of KRW 75 million , with employer social insurance contributions and retirement benefits provided separately. Salary may be adjusted at contract renewal depending on research performance.
