Haruka Ono

Haruka Ono is an Associate Professor at Toyohashi University of Technology in Japan. Her research focuses on urban planning, land use, and spatial equity, with recent articles examining topics such as the relationship between land tenure and land use in unplanned settlements, and the role of public parks in fostering gender equality. Additionally, she has conducted studies on the development patterns of informal settlements in Nairobi and the feasibility of GNSS for tracking movable urban furniture.
