Dr. Irene Vázquez Serrano is an Assistant Professor at the University of Murcia, Spain. Her research focuses on international law, with recent publications addressing topics such as government recognition in contemporary international law, Spanish judicial decisions in public international law, and the regulation of innocent passage for foreign vessels in Colombian territorial waters. She is also exploring new models of international cooperation and constitutional issues related to universal jurisdiction.
