Fully funded PhD opportunity in Plant and Microbial Sciences at the John Innes Centre in the UK. This is the John Innes Foundation Rotation PhD Programme , a four-year doctoral programme that lets students complete three 10-week rotation projects before choosing a main supervisor and PhD topic. The programme is hosted across the John Innes Centre , The Sainsbury Laboratory , and the Earlham Institute , with registration at the University of East Anglia . It offers broad training across plant science , microbiology , genetics , genomics , computational biology , crop science , biological chemistry , systems biology , cell biology , molecular biology , and plant health . Funding includes a competitive 4-year stipend, full tuition fees, and research/training support. The programme is open to UK and international applicants . Applicants should have, or expect to obtain, at least a good undergraduate honours degree (minimum Upper Second Class or equivalent) in a scientific subject relevant to the programme and must satisfy the PhD registration requirements of the University of East Anglia.
