We are inviting applications for a fully funded PhD position in an interdisciplinary joint programme between Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and IISER Tirupati . The project focuses on the direct selection of RNA-based fluorescent light-up aptamer (FLAP) biosensors using microfluidics to detect and study metabolite dynamics in live cells . This opportunity is especially relevant for students interested in Chemical Biology , Organic Chemistry , Synthetic Biology , RNA Biology , high-throughput screening , spectroscopy , and microfluidics . The selected PhD scholar will work with highly interdisciplinary teams at IISER Tirupati and BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus , contributing to RNA-based biosensor synthesis and ultra-high-throughput screening/selection of molecules. Funding: Monthly fellowship of Rs. 37,000 + HRA . Application deadline: November 05, 2026 . Interested candidates should apply using the application link shared in the post and complete the submission before the deadline.
