Funded PhD and Postdoc Positions in CEREBRA-AI: Explainable, Continual, and Neurosymbolic AI

Funded PhD and Postdoc positions are open for the CEREBRA-AI EU Project at the University of Granada , within the Andalusian Data Science Institute (DaSCI) . The project focuses on explainable AI , neurosymbolic AI , continual learning , reinforcement learning , and deep learning , with a strong emphasis on trustworthy, AI Act–aligned general-purpose AI. The project description highlights a unified framework for continual, explainable, and embodied GPAI, including hybrid reasoning, lifelong adaptation, embodied interaction, and trust, fairness, provenance, and uncertainty handling. Research will be connected to sectoral pilots in healthcare, mobility, energy, environment, and manufacturing. Applicants should have a background in computer engineering , computer science , data science , or related areas such as mathematics , statistics , industrial engineering , or electrical engineering .
