Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering for a DRDO-sponsored project on advanced techniques in non-linear power amplifiers optimizing size, weight, and power (SWaP) . The project is led by Prof. Karun Rawat and focuses on RF/microwave engineering , power amplifier design , electromagnetic simulation , RF circuit co-design , and RF measurements/characterization . Research tasks include full-wave EM simulations, load-pull and large-signal analysis, ACPR/IMD characterization, and implementation of linearisation techniques such as DPD , feedforward, and envelope tracking. This is a research-intensive postdoctoral opening with a consolidated salary of ₹80,000 per month . The appointment is for 1 year , extendable up to 2 years based on performance. Eligibility highlights include a Ph.D. in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline from a recognized university/institute, strong experience with tools such as ADS, CST/HFSS, MATLAB , and preferably at least 2 SCI-indexed journal papers or reputed international conference papers .
