Krishna Mohan Poluri

Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD position under the BITS Pilani–IIT Roorkee Joint PhD programme . The project is titled “Rewiring Microalgal metabolism via Adaptive Laboratory Evolution for Flue Gas Valorization” and sits at the interface of algal biotechnology , bioprocess engineering , omics-based technologies , metabolomics , and biological CCUS (carbon capture, utilization, and storage). The work will involve microalgal cultivation , understanding metabolic constraints under high CO2, bioprocess optimisation , biochemical engineering , and advanced analytical methods in a collaborative research environment. The position is supervised by Prof. Supratim Ghosh at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus and Prof. Krishna Mohan Poluri at IIT Roorkee . Candidates with prior experience in algal cultivation , biological carbon dioxide sequestration , metabolomics , or related techniques will be preferred.
