molecular biology, physiology, diabetes research, animal models, xenograft models, genotyping, viral packaging/titration/transduction, human biological material, 3D cell culture/spheroids, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, image analysis, CRISPR gene editing, FISH, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, cell culture, hormone secretion assays, immunoassays, radioactive isotopes, and related physiological measurements.
Eligibility highlights:
applicants should hold a master's degree in molecular biology or a related field, have approved laboratory animal science training (LAS/FELASA), and bring documented hands-on experience with experimental mouse models, surgical procedures, and work with human biological samples. Excellent English skills are required. Strong organizational skills and experience in multidisciplinary/international research settings are advantageous.
Employment details:
fixed-term appointment for 3 months, 50% of full-time, starting as soon as possible or by agreement. The post is a salaried research assistant position rather than a scholarship.
