The project is centered on
nano-enabled flexible and stretchable thin-film sensors
for
sustainable agriculture
and
precision farming
. The research aims to continuously monitor microclimatic and plant-related parameters such as temperature, humidity, soil moisture, light intensity, soil nutrients, and plant stress indicators. The collected data will be correlated with plant physiological responses and integrated with
IoT-based platforms
for real-time monitoring.

Eligibility:
B.Tech. and M.Tech./ME in ECE or related disciplines. Preferred skills include basic knowledge of thin-film materials, nanomaterials, or flexible electronics, plus familiarity with sensor fabrication, characterization, or embedded systems.
Funding:
Fellowship of ₹30,000–₹40,000 per month, with enhanced opportunities up to ₹55,000 per month. Additional support includes research infrastructure funding up to ₹10 lakhs, publication support up to ₹6 lakhs, international collaboration and conference travel funding, and innovation/patent/startup ecosystem support.
