The Polytechnic Institute of Bragança is offering an international competition for one entry-level PhD researcher position in the scientific area of Pharmacy and Health. The successful candidate will join the D2INNOV project, which focuses on nutritional and nutraceutical fortification with vitamin D derived from mushrooms. This project aims to advance research in the development of innovative strategies for vitamin D enrichment, with potential applications in public health and nutrition. The position is based at the Mountain Research Centre, providing a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment for scientific research. The contract is for three years, with a gross monthly salary of €2,351.53, and is automatically renewable under Portuguese law. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Pharmacy or a closely related field and present a scientific and professional curriculum that demonstrates suitability for the research activities. Candidates with foreign degrees must ensure recognition in Portugal. Non-native Portuguese speakers are required to have C1-level proficiency in Portuguese. The selection process involves a rigorous evaluation of scientific and curricular background, focusing on recent scientific output, applied research, knowledge dissemination, and experience in science management.
