The project focuses on developing new fabrication routes for nanoparticles in microfluidic platforms and on the in situ synthesis of plasmonic, magnetic, and piezoelectric nanomaterials for neural stem cell in vitro models . The broader aim is to use inorganic nanomaterials to influence neural stem cell differentiation and monitor local microenvironments over time. This opportunity is especially relevant for candidates interested in chemistry , physics , biomedical engineering , materials science , biology , and related interdisciplinary areas.
