Manoj Kumar

PhD opening at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence with Dr. Manoj Kumar . The project sits at the intersection of Graph Machine Learning and Efficient AI , with research directions including graph dimensionality reduction (graph coarsening, graph sparsification, graph condensation, scalable representation learning), applied graph machine learning using Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) for real-world and large-scale graph data, and KV cache compression for Large Language Models to improve efficient inference and memory optimization. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in Machine Learning , Deep Learning , Graph Algorithms , GNNs , or Large Language Models , plus strong Python/PyTorch programming skills and research enthusiasm. The post emphasizes both fundamental research and practical problem solving, with publication goals at top-tier ML/AI conferences and journals. This is a PhD Student opening. Interested candidates are asked to email their CV and a short note describing research interests and relevant background to [email protected] .
