Marc Lussier

Marc Lussier Lab at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) is recruiting a motivated graduate student for an M.Sc. or Ph.D. position in cellular and molecular neurobiology . The project is NSERC-funded and focuses on PA-TM-RING proteins and their role in endolysosomal trafficking in neurons , a pathway linked to neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases . The work sits at the intersection of neuroscience , cell biology , molecular biology , and biochemistry , with opportunities to use advanced imaging, biochemical approaches, and molecular biology techniques. Funding: The position is described as fully financially supported through an NSERC grant. The lab is also connected to CERMO-FC and PROTEO , offering access to shared equipment, expertise, scholarships, and training opportunities. Eligibility: Applicants should have a B.Sc. for M.Sc. entry or an M.Sc. for Ph.D. entry in neuroscience, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Prior lab experience is helpful but not required. Strong communication skills in English and/or French are expected. Location: Montreal, Canada.
