Two PhD positions are advertised in Agriculture at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra , with research topics spanning agrochemistry , plant nutrition , plant physiology , tree physiology , soil properties, and crop stress physiology. The first topic focuses on the effects of conventional and reduced tillage, microbial preparations, and composts on soil physical, chemical, and biological properties in the Nitra and Trnava regions. The second topic examines how high temperature interacts with water deficit, light conditions, and nitrogen nutrition to affect photosynthetic productivity, photoprotection, and stress responses in wheat genotypes. Eligibility highlights include a completed MSc. degree (or equivalent) in agricultural or natural sciences.
