Postdoctoral Fellow opportunity at The Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. This postdoctoral opening is in the Research School of Biology and is supervised by Associate Professor Megan Head . The project focuses on evolution , ecology , and especially the evolution of thermal tolerance in Australian eucalypt beetles , with a strong emphasis on thermal ecology and related biological research. The successful candidate will conduct independent research, publish original findings in refereed journals, present at seminars and conferences, and collaborate with researchers and students. The role also includes mentoring and supervising undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate students, with possible teaching contributions. Eligibility highlights include a PhD in a relevant field , a strong publication record for career stage, and experience training or mentoring research students. The position is a full-time fixed-term appointment for up to 2 years , with flexible arrangements, job share, or part-time hours considered.
