King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia, is recruiting
two postdoctoral researchers
in
gas separation membranes
through the research group of
Dr. Youdong Cheng
at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Membranes & Water Security.
The project focuses on
advanced membrane materials
for
CO2 capture
and
olefin/paraffin separation
. Preferred expertise includes synthesizing
MOFs
and
COFs
, membrane separation experiments, and membrane system setup. The role also involves independent experimental research, publishing high-quality journal papers, preparing research proposals, implementing projects, and assisting with graduate student supervision.
Eligibility highlights:
applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field obtained within the past three years. Experience at a QS-ranked university is required/preferred, and the post notes no failed courses in undergraduate, master’s, or Ph.D. transcripts. First-author publications in peer-reviewed journals are preferred.
