Nathalie Dejucq-Rainsford

Postdoctoral position in Virology and Innate Immunity at IRSET-Inserm U1085 in Rennes, France . The project, led by Dr. Nathalie Dejucq-Rainsford and her UrGenT team, focuses on understanding the mechanisms behind Zika virus (ZIKV) persistence in male germ cell reservoirs. The research will investigate cellular factors such as autophagy and viral determinants that drive persistent infection without host cell death. This is an ANRS-funded postdoctoral project with a 30-month duration and a planned start date of December 1, 2026 . Required background includes a PhD in Virology or Innate Immunity , a strong publication record in these areas, and practical expertise in cell culture (including primary cells), molecular virology , flow cytometry , immunofluorescence , RT-qPCR , and Western blot .
