We are hiring a Postdoctoral Scholar to join the Gut–Brain Science Laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine . This NIH R01-funded project explores how gut-resident macrophages influence gastrointestinal motility , epithelial barrier function , and gut–brain communication in health and disease, with a strong emphasis on neuroimmune interactions . The opportunity is especially relevant for candidates interested in neurogastroenterology , gut-brain axis research, microbiome -related questions, gastroparesis , and team science . The post does not mention a deadline, stipend amount, or tuition details, but it clearly indicates a funded postdoctoral opening. Applicants should be curious and motivated, with a strong interest in translational biomedical research. If you are looking for a postdoc in a highly interdisciplinary environment focused on gastrointestinal physiology and neuroimmune mechanisms, this may be a strong fit.
