Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad is inviting applications for a postdoc position in the group of Rama Srinivas Varanasi , Assistant Professor, for a one-year project titled “Nanoscale Microstructure Engineering of Advanced High-Strength Steels to Mitigate Hydrogen Embrittlement.” The research is centered on advanced high-strength steels , hydrogen embrittlement , physical metallurgy , and multi-scale characterization , with techniques including atom probe tomography , EBSD , and TEM . This is a strong fit for candidates with experience in steel metallurgy and advanced materials characterization. Applicants should have prior experience in one or more of the following: steels, physical metallurgy, multiscale characterization techniques such as EBSD and TEM, and hydrogen embrittlement.
