Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile is inviting applications for a full-time faculty position in Construction Management with expertise in Emerging Technologies at the Department of Construction Engineering and Management, School of Engineering. The position is aimed at outstanding candidates whose research aligns with Lean Construction , Digital Transformation , Advanced Construction Technologies such as BIM , IoT , and Digital Twins , as well as the integration of human factors into digital transformation, project and operations management , and risk management in construction projects . This is a faculty appointment at one of Latin America’s leading engineering schools, with opportunities for high-impact research, teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, interdisciplinary collaboration, and engagement with academic and industry networks. Eligibility highlights: applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a related discipline such as civil engineering, construction engineering, industrial engineering, architectural engineering, or architecture. Prior postdoctoral or international academic experience should be included. English fluency is required; Spanish is not required at application time, but the selected candidate should be ready to teach in Spanish within two years. Application deadline: 2026-06-30.
