The Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB) in Bangalore, India, is inviting applications for up to two PhD positions in its dynamic and interdisciplinary research teams for the January 2026 intake. The program covers cutting-edge areas in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, and Big Data Biology, with research topics including disease genomics, epigenomics, pharmacogenomics, multiomic integration (cancer, autism, stroke, malaria, metabolic disorders, ageing, spermatogenesis), biomarker discovery, single cell-sequencing, and spatial transcriptomics.
