CLAIM (Climate Litigation Actions by the Internationally Marginalised) is advertising a full-time postdoctoral research position in media and communication sciences within an interdisciplinary project on climate litigation , climate justice , and epistemic justice . The project studies the roles and practices of marginalised actors in international climate cases and related communication strategies before, during, and after litigation. The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to analysing communicational and discursive dimensions of international climate litigation, including collecting corpora of publications and communication materials, working with media and digital content, applying quantitative and/or qualitative methods, and possibly conducting interviews and observation. The position is hosted by UCLouvain and is part of the CLAIM research team, which includes Professors Sylvie Sarolea , Amandine Orsini , Andrea Catellani , and Sophie Del Fa . The call is especially aimed at researchers with international mobility who have not lived or mainly worked/studied in Belgium for more than 24 months in the last three years. Eligibility highlights: a PhD in media and communication sciences, language sciences, or an equivalent field; experience with large data corpora and online/social media data extraction; strong interest in ecology, environment, climate litigation, decolonial issues, and marginalised actors; fluency in English and French; Spanish is an asset; willingness to relocate to Belgium.
