About

Stephan Pauleit is a Professor at the Technical University Munich, Germany. His research primarily focuses on urban forestry, microclimates, and the ecosystem services provided by urban trees. He has contributed significantly to the understanding of how urban design and vegetation affect thermal comfort and storm-water management in cities. Pauleit is also interested in governance strategies that reconcile housing demands with climate change adaptation and greening initiatives.
