The project is titled
Combining Spin-Transfer Torque and All-Optical Switching in Ultrafast Spintronic Devices
and focuses on next-generation high-speed, low-power spintronic devices. Research themes include

The position is a
24-month full-time contract
starting in
September 2026 or sooner
. The post is embedded in the SPIN team, a research environment known for
nanomagnetism

, and advanced nanotechnology facilities.
Eligibility:
applicants must already hold a PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Nanophysics, Spintronics, or a closely related field. Preferred experience includes femtosecond laser experiments, magnetic tunnel junctions, nanofabrication, thin films, clean room processing, micromagnetic modelling, and data analysis. English proficiency is required; no French or Japanese is needed.
