Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) is inviting applications for a
PhD opportunity in Optomagnetism
(joint-student) in the broad area of
magnetoelectric materials
and
optical control of magnetism
.
The selected PhD student will work on experimental and simulation-driven research related to
optically driven magnetic switching
,
magnetoelectric coupling
,
multifunctional materials
, and
nanoelectronic devices
. The project is jointly supervised by
Dr. Anuj Kumar
(Assistant Professor, ECE and Centre for Quantum Technologies, IIIT-Delhi; MIND Lab) and
Sukanta Nandi
(Assistant Professor, ECE, IIIT-Delhi).
Research exposure includes
thin-film and device fabrication
,
optical and magnetic characterization
,
electrical measurements
,
material-device integration
, and interdisciplinary work in advanced functional materials and
spintronic devices

Eligibility highlights:

Physics

, or equivalent national-level fellowship is preferred, and applicants must meet IIIT Delhi’s qualification requirements.
Funding:
