PhD and Masters Positions in Wireless Communications, DNA Storage, and AI at Sejong University
Sejong University in Seoul, South Korea, is inviting applications for PhD and Masters positions in the AI & Information Technology Research Lab, led by Professor Sunghwan Kim. The lab specializes in theoretical research with a focus on wireless communications, DNA storage and security, transformers, and artificial intelligence applications in these fields. Students are expected to engage primarily in research and academic paper writing rather than hands-on projects.

Benefits for new members include a full tuition waiver, a monthly stipend of at least 1.4M KRW for Masters students and 1.8M KRW for PhD students, and research incentives ranging from 1M to 10M KRW based on publication impact. Conference support is provided once per year. The professor prefers applicants for the combined MS/PhD track, but Masters-only candidates are also considered.
Applicants should have a strong academic background (minimum graduation classification of 'Good') in Electronics & Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related fields.
