. These openings are well suited to candidates with backgrounds in
chemical engineering

chemistry
,
materials science
, and related fields.
Postdoctoral applicants
should have a PhD, research experience in electrochemistry and/or catalysis, a strong publication record, and experience with CO2 electroreduction, electrochemical biomass conversion or oxidation, MEA systems, process simulation, or COMSOL Multiphysics.
Prospective PhD students
should have a strong academic record, a relevant background, clear interest in the listed research areas, and preferably research experience in electrochemistry, catalysis, biomass conversion, CO2 conversion, or process analysis.
