Senior postdoctoral position available in the Giannini Lab / University of Rome La Sapienza, focused on TP53 (p53) inactivation mechanisms in cancer stem cells and host cells within the tumor microenvironment. The project investigates how p53 is functionally inactivated in tumors such as colorectal cancer, including in infiltrating host cells like macrophages, and how restoring p53 activity may improve anticancer strategies for clinical application. This opportunity is aimed at PhD holders (including M.D.-PhDs ) with lab experience in molecular/cellular cancer biology or immunology .
