Wael Houssen

Fully funded PhD opportunity at the University of Aberdeen in synthetic biology , peptide engineering , biotechnology , and molecular biology . The project is an EASTBIO/BBSRC PhD focused on developing artificial molecular muscles using engineered biosynthetic enzymes and peptide-based systems . It is a multidisciplinary research opportunity with training in synthetic biology , peptide synthesis , protein engineering , molecular modelling , and advanced biomaterials . This post is shared by Wael Houssen , Reader at the University of Aberdeen, but the message is a promotion of the PhD opening rather than a first-person recruitment post. The opportunity is explicitly described as fully funded . Best fit for applicants with interests in biological engineering, biomaterials, and molecular design. Check the linked FindAPhD page for full eligibility details and application steps.
