King’s College London is advertising a fully funded PhD studentship in the Department of Engineering under the supervision of Professor Yansha Deng . The project focuses on goal-oriented multi-agent communications and networking , with applications to Physical AI , robotics , and 2D/3D video over constrained communication networks . The research sits at the intersection of telecommunications , wireless communications , video compression , artificial intelligence , machine learning , computer vision , and semantic communications . The studentship is 3.5 years long and includes a stipend of approximately £24,514 per year tax-free for 2027/28, with possible inflationary increases.
