FOEL at KAIST is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher in in-sensor computing and nanophotonics . The position is part of the KAIST InnoCORE initiative and focuses on next-generation optical AI computing research. Research themes include in-sensor computing , AI-integrated nanophotonics , and related work in photonics , electrical engineering , semiconductor engineering , and optoelectronic devices . The post is hosted by Young Min Song , KAIST Endowed Chair Professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology . Eligibility: applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Optics, Physics, or a related field. Preferred experience includes photonics design , characterization , or flexible/stretchable optoelectronic devices . Funding: the role offers $65K+ USD/year (negotiable) plus incentives, with support for participation in large-scale national research programs, global collaboration, and conferences.
