Postdoctoral Fellow in Radiology, Imaging Sciences, and MRI Research

Indiana University School of Medicine is advertising a Postdoctoral Fellow position in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, hosted by Professor Yu-Chien Wu . The lab works in radiology, imaging sciences, MRI, neuroimaging, image processing, and quantitative brain imaging , with research spanning diffusion MRI, volumetric MRI, resting-state and task fMRI, QSM, perfusion MRI, PET, and related computational methods. The postdoc will join a highly collaborative environment and work with neuroradiologists, neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, neuroscientists, computational neuroscientists, statisticians, physicists, and research scientists. The research environment includes access to the Research Imaging Core and advanced scanners and imaging infrastructure at Indiana University. Eligibility highlights: applicants should hold an MD or PhD in Medical Physics, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Sciences, or a related field. The post emphasizes at least four years of training, strong MRI data acquisition and neuroimage processing experience, and strong computational/programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++. Experience with R/SPSS and image-processing/visualization tools such as FSL, SPM, FreeSurfer, ANTs, or pMOD is desirable. Knowledge of MRI physics, MRI sequence design, image reconstruction, and machine learning/deep learning for MR image processing is preferred but not required. How to apply: send a cover letter, CV, and contact information for three references to Mrs. Kirsten Adams at [email protected] . The position is open until filled.
