Postdoctoral positions in Trustworthy AI for Science & Foundation Model Evaluation

Prof. Zenglin Xu
and focuses on research directions in
LLM security, safety, trustworthy evaluation
, and
automated model evaluation with multi-agent workflows
.
Research topics include developing theoretical frameworks, robust benchmarks, and advanced evaluation tools to reduce hallucinations, knowledge bias, ethical leakage, and experimental safety risks in scientific large models. Another direction covers end-to-end evaluation pipelines, from literature parsing and benchmark extraction to environment deployment and error attribution, with dynamic dual-loop workflows that combine public benchmarks and real-world scientific validation.
Applicants should have a
Ph.D.
in
Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics
, or a closely related field, ideally obtained within the past three years or near graduation. A strong publication record in top-tier ML/NLP/Bio-AI venues such as
ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, ACL
is expected, along with strong skills in
PyTorch, Hugging Face, LLM orchestration tools
, and theoretical foundations in alignment, evaluation, or flow-matching algorithms.
