The total funding period is 7 to 24 months, flexible across multiple stays.

Eligibility and requirements depend on the university and programme. Applicants generally need a master’s degree for a full PhD route, or existing doctoral registration for the sandwich route. Some universities may require IELTS/TOEFL or German proficiency such as TestDaF/DSH.
