KAUST Scholarship

Applications are open for the KAUST Scholarship 2026 at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia. This is a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue Master’s, MS/PhD, and PhD study in a highly research-focused environment.

The scholarship supports a wide range of STEM and research fields, including Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Bioengineering, Bioscience, Earth Science and Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Energy Resources and Petroleum Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering, Marine Science, Material Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plant Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics and Computational Science, Applied Physics, and Data Science.

Funding includes full tuition coverage, a monthly stipend, free on-campus accommodation, health insurance, travel support, visa support, and relocation support. The post also states there is no application fee.

Eligibility highlights include a relevant prior degree: a Bachelor’s degree for Master’s applicants and a Master’s degree for PhD applicants. Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0, with most admitted students typically above 3.3. English proficiency is required, with accepted scores including IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 81, PTE Academic 62, or Cambridge English 176. Some applicants may be exempt if they completed their degree through in-person study in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
