About this position
The LNVH (Dutch Network of Women Professors) has opened the call for the 2026–2027 Distinguished Women Scientists Fund, a grant for women postdocs working in the Netherlands who want to travel abroad as part of their research.
This opportunity is open to candidates from all disciplines. Eligible applicants must have a PhD and hold a postdoc position at a university, university medical centre, or research institute in the Netherlands. Applicants are normally expected to have obtained their PhD within the three years before the reference date of September 15, 2026, although an extension clause may apply in some cases.
The grant supports research-related travel abroad such as data collection or collaborations, and is not intended for conference attendance alone. The maximum award is €1,500 per grant, with six applications rewarded per call.
To apply, read the full call and submit the application through the form on the LNVH website. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
