This is a competition-funded PhD opportunity for students worldwide. Funding notes state that GEMS recipients are funded for an immersive year at Monash University Australia, Monash University Indonesia, or the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay for up to 9 months, with access to Monash’s global research network and infrastructure during candidature.

Eligibility requires at least First Class Honours (H1) or equivalent recognised by Monash University Malaysia, plus the required English language level.
