About this position
Western Sydney University and the Law and Justice Foundation of NSW are offering a PhD scholarship focused on legal needs, access to justice, inequalities, law, sociology, social work, and public health.
The project will examine inequalities in people’s experiences of legal problems and identify opportunities for meaningful reforms. The successful candidate will contribute to an Australian Research Council (ARC)-funded study and to the Foundation’s broader work on legal needs, including the LAW+ survey.
This scholarship is open to domestic candidates from law, sociology, social work, public health, and related fields.
Funding: stipend of $45,188 per annum tax-free.
