Non-resident students may receive a tuition waiver for the out-of-state portion and possibly an award for the in-state portion.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, environmental sciences, geography, sociology, policy studies, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred for PhD applicants. Strong communication skills, interest in social science methods, and willingness to travel within the US for data collection are preferred.
