Dear all, we're looking for a talented doctoral candidate (UK only) to join our interdisciplinary research team at the University of Leeds for a fully-funded PhD project combining AI, machine vision, and powder technology!
Project: AI-Assisted Characterization of Triboelectrification of Powders
This cutting-edge research will develop AI models to predict how powders charge during contact and separation which is a critical phenomenon affecting pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing, and additive manufacturing. You'll work with state-of-the-art powder characterization facilities and develop novel machine learning approaches to understand and control triboelectrification in industrial powders.
