Eligibility requires a completed Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field before the start date, fluency in English, strong communication skills, and prior experience with AI. Candidates should be willing to tackle interdisciplinary research problems and meet the requirements of the University of Oulu Graduate School (UniOGS). Practical expertise in AI, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge of ethics and philosophy are valued.
The position is full-time and fixed-term for three years, with a starting gross salary of approximately 2600-3200 € per month (before taxes), determined by the Finnish university demand level chart and personal performance. A 6-month trial period applies. The application deadline is 15 January 2026.
