The University of Luxembourg is offering a doctoral researcher position in Services and Data Management (SEDAN) within the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT). The role involves developing novel research directions, implementing concrete solutions, supporting experiments and benchmarks, contributing to scientific publications, and potentially producing patents or open-source software.

The project environment is collaborative and research-oriented. The doctoral researcher will work with academic and industrial partners, contribute to proposal writing and project reporting, and take part in workshops, demonstrations, and outreach activities. The post is based at Kirchberg Campus in Luxembourg and is offered as a fixed-term, full-time 36-month contract.

Applicants should have a master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field. The role calls for strong programming skills, especially in Python, and a strong interest in machine learning, artificial intelligence, security, reliability, and emerging technologies. Familiarity with software engineering practices such as version control, testing, and reproducible experimentation is an advantage.
