Two PhD positions are available at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, The The University of Texas at Arlington, to start either Spring or Fall 2025. I have two PhD positions available in my research team at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, The University of Texas at Arlington, to start either Spring or Fall 2025. One will work on "modeling flow and transport in porous media" and another one on "resilience of complex systems". Candidates should have the following minimum qualifications:(1) M.Sc. in geoscience, environmental engineering, civil engineering or related fields(2) Excellent computer programming with Python(3) Being able to work in a team (with skills like active listening, problem solving, and communication)Having a published journal article is a plus.To apply, applicants should submit a short cover letter, explaining how they fit this position, and an updated CV to me via email [email protected].
