About this position

Fully funded PhD opportunity at the University of Bedfordshire in the UK, linked to IHWR/CoC/2026. The project is titled “Communities of Culture as a Catalyst for Physical Activity, Behaviour Change and Preventive Health in Diverse Communities” and is delivered with Be Active and Sport England.

The post is aimed at applicants with a 1st or 2:1 in a relevant field and a strong interest in public health, behavioural science, health psychology, physical activity, health inequalities, or implementation research. Desirable experience includes a master’s degree, qualitative/quantitative/mixed methods, behaviour change theory, and community/voluntary/healthcare experience with diverse groups.
