Applicants should have an MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong theoretical background in wireless communications is required, including channel modeling, modulation and coding, MAC/PHY layer design, and information theory. Hands-on experience with wireless systems such as USRP, GNU Radio, RF or optical hardware testbeds, or embedded prototyping platforms is expected. Familiarity with 5G/6G concepts and standards is expected, with quantum communication or quantum-safe security as a strong plus. Background in network security and/or optimization or machine learning for wireless systems is a plus. Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++ are preferred, along with experience using GNU Radio, ns-3, or similar tools. A relevant publication record and strong English writing and speaking skills are also desired.
