Funding: fully funded 4-year studentship, tax-free stipend at the UKRI rate (£21,805/year for 2026/27), full tuition coverage, and a Research Training Support Grant (£16,400 total).

Eligibility: minimum 2.1 or higher in a relevant undergraduate degree or a relevant master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Audiology, Acoustics, Psychology, Environmental Science, or a related subject. International applicants must meet English language requirements (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent). The CDT also highlights widening participation support for UK home-fees applicants from underrepresented groups.
