Applicants should be interested in metabolism and neurodegeneration, with particular enthusiasm for omic techniques such as proteomics and lipidomics. A minimum of an upper second-class UK Bachelor’s degree and/or a Master’s degree in a biological sciences subject, preferably biochemistry, is expected.
Supervision is by Professor Kevin Mills, Dr Jenny Hällqvist, Dr Wendy Heywood, and Professor Philippa Mills. The studentship provides a stipend of £23,805 per annum and covers Home and Overseas tuition fees. It does not cover the Student Visa application or Immigration Health Surcharge.
